Introduction
The project emerged in response to the military invasion of Ukraine by russia. Fake.Vision was developed as an effective tool for maintaining the objectivity of the information about events in Ukraine, aiming to significantly reduce the infiltration of PSYOP (Psychological operations) news from enemy news agencies.
Challenge
The project’s main task is to identify propaganda narratives that have an emotional and psychological impact on readers of English-language news resources. As part of the overall project workflow, it was essential to develop a web scraping mechanism to gather all content from the links provided by users. The final stage involved AI processing to achieve a minimum propaganda detection accuracy of 80%.
